For the water enthusiast, Delmonte offers swimming, canoeing, kayaking, boating and fishing. Sparrow Lake provides easy access to the Trent waterway via the Severn River which flows through the lake. Both lake and river are ideal for the avid boater and fisherman with bass, pickerel, pike and muskie to be caught. We have 200 feet of sandy beach with playground and water slide for the children - fun galore! There are organized children's activities during July and August which include water games, field day, marshmallow roasts, hiking, scavenger hunt, arts and crafts, sand castle building and much more. On the shore we offer tennis, shuffleboard, basketball, volleyball, baseball, horseshoes, games room, hiking, bon fires on the beach and an 27-hole regulation golf course nearby.
